MAXIMUM VERBOSITY

In: Warrior Needs Food, Badly

Maximum Verbosity isn't your mild-mannered theatre company. It's more like a garage band, only for theatre. In "Warrior Needs Food, Badly," the two remaining survivors of the nineteen-eighties, the comedy team of Evans and Low, take on pop culture from China to America, from the thirties to the nineties. A little poetry, a lot of mime, no CGI or wire fu. And yes, they do all their own stunts (photo: Scott Pakudaitis).

Commedia del Queso Presents:

Me for Mayor!

A comedic look at elections, democracy, puffed shirts and our current obsession with Paris Hilton. Using masks, physical comedy and a wry look at today's newsmakers, this troupe of four humorists have created a show using commedia techniques. Expect duels, treachery, pratfalls and possibly, an election.

Commedia del Queso is four actors, each classically trained in improvisation, comedy and cookie baking. With a combined height of over 400 kilos, they are easily the most verbose group at any mime festival. Bring a friend who snorts when they laugh to "Me for Mayor!".
